

New menu, new flavours, and the same love from home!
Doña Bertha's story goes back 14 years, when she arrived in Australia with her family. Here she was awarded over the course of 8 years as chef of the month three times at the Star restaurant, formerly called Jupiter.
Five years ago, together with Gregorio, her husband, she opened Doña Bertha's restaurant on Gold Coast. Offering delights of Latin American gastronomy, whose secret ingredient is love, they have delighted all those who are attracted by the aroma and the good vibes that emanate from the place.
Doña Bertha's restaurant also became a meeting point for Latinos, often serving as a home for the large community of migrants residing on the Gold Coast.
Bringing a Colombian grandma's recipe, to the bold flavours of Peruvian ceviche, the fire of Argentinian grills, the warmth of Brazilian homestyle cooking, the soul of Chilean cuisine and the heart of Venezuela - every plate tells a story.
